Traveling to Puerto Vallarta or Punta Mita is an invitation to slow down, enjoy the ocean, and discover new flavors. But over the years, working as a private chef in villas, I have learned something important: many of the most memorable moments of a trip don’t happen in busy restaurants, but around a quiet table in the comfort of your own vacation home.
That is where food becomes something more than just dinner. It becomes a shared moment.
With a simple philosophy — eat well, travel often — my team and I aim to make every meal a meaningful part of the journey.
The magic of dining in your own villa
After a day at the beach or exploring the coast, returning to your villa and finding the table ready can be one of the small luxuries that make a vacation truly special. No waiting lines. No rush.
Just the sound of glasses, the aromas coming from the kitchen, and the comfort of knowing everything is being prepared just for you.
Working as a private chef in Puerto Vallarta and Punta Mita, I have seen how these moments often become some of our guests’ favorite memories of their trip.
Menus created for every table
One of the greatest advantages of having a private chef is personalization. Every group is different, every celebration has its own energy, and that is why we design each menu around the people sitting at the table. Sometimes it is an elegant multi-course dinner.Other times it is a relaxed brunch by the ocean.
We also host Mexican cooking classes, where guests not only enjoy the flavors but learn how to prepare them. For me, cooking has always been a way of sharing.
Sharing Mexican culture through food
When we cook for guests in their villa, we don’t just bring ingredients.
We bring stories.
Mexican cuisine is full of tradition, techniques, and flavors that tell the story of who we are.
My team works like a family, and we love sharing that part of our culture with travelers visiting Mexico.
Very often, the conversations around the table become just as memorable as the food itself.
When cooking meets mixology
Another element many guests enjoy is adding professional bartender service to the evening.
While we are working in the kitchen, the bar slowly comes to life.
Fresh margaritas, well-balanced mezcal cocktails, and drinks designed to complement the flavors of the menu.
Small details that help transform dinner into a complete experience.
In the end, everything happens around the table
Whether it’s a special dinner, a brunch with friends, or a cooking class during your vacation, the goal is always the same:
To create moments people will remember long after their trip is over.
Because at the end of the day, travel is remembered not only by the places we visit…but by the tables where we shared good food, laughter, and conversation.
And for me, it is always a privilege to be part of those moments.
